Fun, Educational, Recreational, God-Honoring
CSA will be conducting 20 Creation Safaris
this year, some new, most we have done before. Designed for all ages and educational
levels, these outings are attended and enjoyed by toddlers to octogenerians,
singles, families, youth or church groups. Everyone has a good time and brings
back something of eternal value. Reserve your slots early. CSA does not charge
for Safaris, but depending on the outing, there can be costs.

March 26 (Saturday) 8AM - 6PM - Southeast
Kansas Fossils & Coal
A day trip to the coal mining region of SE Kansas - great
exploration, excellent evidence for the Genesis Flood, and, fun for all
ages. Again this year, we will be touring the Tri-State Mineral Museum

State Line Road. Each Astronomy Safari consists of an inspiring slide
seminar followed by a tour of the heavens using tracking telescopes and
binoculars. For more information, get the Safari Detail Booklet, which
also contains a map to the safari site (see below).

April 30 (Saturday) - Fossils and Geology of Kansas City - 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
A circuitous tour completely around Kansas City visiting several fossil beds with so many fossils you will be shocked. Start your own fossil collection, we will help you identify and
catalog your finds from fossil beds all over the Kansas City area.

May 27 - 30 (Sat - Mon) - Western
Kansas Chalk and Fossil Beds
One of the most famous chalk and fossil beds in the world. Visit
Wildcat Canyon, Castle Rock, volcanic ash beds, and numerous other chalk and
fossil beds. Bring home all the fossils you can carry. Detailed Directions and Times can still be retrieved from the 2010 Safari Detail Booklet.

June 23 - 25 (Thurs - Sat) - Ozark Stream Float - Eleven Point River, Grand Gulf State Park, Greer Spring
Camp, canoe and swim in the beautiful North Fork River, an Ozark
National Scenic Riverway. Enjoy a
delightful weekend, and grow in grace and knowledge of river and canyon formation;
what purifies our atmosphere; and the awesome "evidence for God's eternal
power and deity" [Rom
1:20]. Directions: From Springfield, 80 Mi E on 60 to Willow Springs, Southon 63 25 miles ro West Plains, East on 160 ~ 45 miles to Riverton. Camp is located just east of the 160 river bridge, about 6 hours from Kandas City. Costs; Tent camp: $5.00/adult/nite, $4.00/child. Electric site: $7.00/person. Natural History Museum
Fossil hunt, picnic, and a truly rare experience... God-honoring
tour of a Natural History Museum.
Directions: McDonald's restaurant parking lot, NE corner of 87th Street and I-435, Lenexa, KS. Look for CSA "Real Scientists Just Say NO!" posters in car windows (see page 17). We prefer that all attendees join especially this safaris at the beginning. If you do not, you will miss the fossil hunt and some of the education necessary to understand the museum.

August 13 (Saturday) - 10:00AM - 2:30PM - Rock
Bridge Cave Tour
A truly "wild" cave, i.e., no fancy sidewalks or lights.
We bring our own lights. One of Missouri's longest caves in the heart of Missouri's
famous Karst region (a region marked by caves, sinkholes, natural bridges,
underground rivers, etc.)
Where: Meet at Devil's Icebox parking lot in Rock Bridge State Park, Columbia, MO.
Directions: From Kansas City, ~125 miles east on I-70 to Columbia, Exit 126 (Providence Rd.). South on Providence about 5 miles. Providence becomes Highway 163 after Stadium Blvd. Left at the intersection with a school on its SE corner. Two more miles on 163 to Devil's Icebox parking lot.

September 2 - 5 (Fri - Mon) - Southeast
Missouri/Johnson's Shut-ins
Becoming our most popular safari with all ages. Visit, swim
and play in some of the world's most interesting geologic formations: Johnson's
Shut-ins and the Taum Sauk Mountain disaster, Elephant Rocks (large, "elephant
shaped" granite formations), Silver Mines, Devil's Honeycomb all while
learning how these formed quickly.

October 1 (Saturday) - Great Animal Adventure - Caney, Ks Zoo Tour
A new safari this year. There are zoos that are closer, but you have to deal with the crowds and the animals are difficult to see. The Caney, Ks Zoo has a limited selection but you get a guided tour and the animals come up close so you can see them. Lions, tigers and bears oh my, plus leopards, baboons, lemurs, macaques, alligator and more. Our tour will be with a creation perspective of the awesome diversity of God’s creation. We will also try to throw in some fossil and maybe some mineral hunting while on the way down.

Bike Trail
Bicycle trip along the beautiful Missouri River bluffs near Boonville,
MO. Fall colors, explore the cause and age of the Missouri River and its valley.
Where: KATY Trail Trail-head, Rocheport, Missouri, When: 9AM
Directions: Just north of I-70, between Columbia and Boonville, MO. Two hours East of Royals Stadium in Kansas City

Creek Game Refuge - Eagle Day
Thousands of geese and ducks, many deer, muskrats, and bald eagles. Also,
hiking, fossil hunts, Loess soil and fascinating seminars on Geology and
God's Marvels, including migration.
